The Vice Chancellor, Karl Kumm University Vom, Prof. Nanven Audu Gambo, has eulogized late Prof. Chapa C. Onazi, the University’s Pro-Chancellor, for his substantial contributions to the momentous evolution of the institution which would be written in the annals of the institution’s history.
This came in a press statement signed by the Protocol and Information Officer, Karl Kumm University, Bulus Gambo, and made available to newsmen in Jos, the Plateau State capital Tuesday.
According to statement, the Prof. Gambo, stated this during a staff devotion held at the Senate Chambers
noting that, he was still batting to come to terms with the reality of the death of
the Pro-Chancellor.
He advised staff of the institution to rededicate themselves and offer their best for the advancement
of the university just as late Prof Onazi did during his memorable lifetime.
On his part, the former Chairman, Provisional Church Council (PCC) Borno,
Rev Daniel Gulla, expressed gratitude to all those who have contrbuted to
the realisation of the vision of establishing the faith based citadel of learning.
He commended the efforts of the Proprietor and incumbent Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof Nanven Gambo, his management and staff for the dedication to sustaining educational excellence for greater prospects.
A one minute-silence was subsequently observed for the repose of the soul of the former Pro Chancellor of the University, Prof Ochapa Onazi.
