Thuggery, gangsterism, a setback to development of every society 

Aminu Hadi Muhammad, the Secretary General of Inter Party Advisory Council (IPAC)

    The Plateau State Secretary General of Inter Party Advisory Council (IPAC), Aminu Hadi Muhammad, has described thuggry and Gangsterism as factors responsible for the setback of any given society.

    He stated this recently, at the Youths Programme with participants drawn from all the fourteen Wards in Jos North LGA, held at the conference hall of the Jos central Mosque, the Plateau State capital.

    The Secretary General, while speaking at the Programme, pleaded with the youths to rather engage themselves in skill trades to help boost the economy of the state, since there exists no much employment opportunities these days.

     He, therefore, called on security agencies to work 24/7 hours to enhance security, now that the local government elections were around the corner.

    Meanwhile, Hadi Aminu, has implored PLASIEC to come out with orientation campaigns through radio and television programs to help educate youths on the importance of peaceful conduct, as IPAC would also continue to be in constant touch with them.

   He, therefore, appealed to government at all levels to ensure peaceful conduct of the forthcoming elections by being transparent and providing all the necessary things needed for the exercise to achieve its purposes.
