I pledge my loyalty to government of the day–Mallo

 

Mr. Yakubu Ishaya Mallo, the newly sworn-in Permanent Secretary in the Plateau State Civil Service at the dinner

     The newly sworn-in Permanent Secretary, Mr. Yakubu Ishaya Mallo, has pledged his unalloyed loyalty to Governor Caleb Mutfwang led administration to succeed in giving the people of Plateau State the dividends of democracy.

   He gave the pledge Wednesday, while in an interview with Journalists shortly after being sworn in as permanent secretary in the Plateau State Civil Service in Jos, the Plateau State capital.

     The Permanent Secretary noted that his appointment to serve as a Permanent Secretary in the Plateau State Civil Service by Governor Caleb Mutfwang would further spur him to give his best to the development of the State.

       He said, “I will ensure that the dreams and visions of the Executive Governor of Plateau State is realised, because the policies put in place by this administration for the people of Plateau State are life changing.

       “I feel so grateful because it is the desire of every civil servant to reach the pinnacle of his career which my appointment is a testament to that.Therefore, as a Civil Servant, I will ensure that those policies and programmes of the Governor become a reality

         “It is my desire and take to continue to put in my best because to whom much is given, much is expected. I am not going to disappoint the Governor and the people of Plateau State in anyway. I will try my best to ensure that, what I am desired to do for Plateau State, as a civil servant, I will give my own part”, Mallo assured.

            According to the newly appointed Permanent Secretary, “what the Governor needs is our support and us as civil servants, our support is unalloyed because we are trained to be loyal to every government that is in place.

        “And being a government in place and as civil servants, we are going to be loyal to him. I as a person, I will continue to be loyal to my Governor, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang”, he committed.

         While commending the Governor for carrying out an all inclusive steps in the appointment of Special Assistants, where all the tribes on the Plateau were represented, Mallo, noted that it showed the Governor’s determination to carry everybody along.

         He, however, described also the selection process by the governor in appointing the Permanent Secretaries as incredible, because it follows the laid down civil service rules, hence the need for people to support transparency and honesty of this administration.

It would be recalled that, Mr Yakubu Ishaya Mallo, was a one time DPM, Acting Permanent Secretary and have served for years and has an incredible experience in the state civil services to have risen to this height.
