
People’s Democratic Party (PDP)’s Councillorship Candidate of Pangwasa Ward in Shendam Local Government Area, Hon. Kamshiwe Ngoma Kimto, has promised to sacrifice his pleasure and ensure that true representation would be to people of Pangwasa Ward if elected.
He stated this Saturday, while in an interview with Journalists at the Plateau State Headquarters of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Jos, the Plateau State capital ahead of the forthcoming Local Government Council Elections.
The Councillorship Candidate disclosed that, he was moved by the sincere desire to change the living conditions of his people saying, “my priority is on the less privileged to be taken care of. I have been doing it and if elected, I will do more.
“Secondly, we have the problem of water which is one serious challenge in our Ward and by the grace of God, if elected, I will make sure that this is adequately addressed by tabling this to our would be Council Chairman.
“We also lack access road linking some of our communities which is a major challenge. I will ensure that these communities are linked up. I will make sure I lobby for my people to benefit from the dividends of democracy”, he assured.
According to Kamshiwe, “honestly, I never thought of contesting for this election, but respected interests called me to represent them and I obliged, because I respect the decision of my people. So, by the special grace of God, I am not going there to represent myself, but I am going there to represent my people”.
He, however, assured the that, his attention would also be given to the youths through skills acquisition programmes that would empower them and help complement the employment deficit currently experienced in the local government areas.
Kamshiwe, therefore, called on his supporters to be peaceful during and after the election because it should not be a do or die affairs, but a struggle for development.
