The People’s Redemption Party (PRP)’s Councillorship Candidate of Angwan-Rogo/Angwan-Rimi/Sabon-Layi Ward in Jos-North Local Government Area, Plateau State, Hon. Jamilu Abdullahi Mazadu, has pledged his commitment to changing the living standard of his people if elected.
He made the pledge recently, while in an interview with Journalists at the headquarters of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Jos, the Plateau State capital ahead of October 9 council elections.
The Candidate said, “I have watched with great concern, the deplorable living conditions of my people and thought it should be uplifted. I have seen how they have sacrificed in trying to get a better life through voting, but the opposite has always been the case.

“That is why I am moved to give myself to see if they can get a better living standard like any other Nigerian. With my experience in Journalism, I have come across many things that my people in Angwan-Rogo/Angwan-Rimi/ Sabon-Layi are passing through.
“I discovered that my people have been backward when talking about benefits of dividends of democracy. This is what prompted me to contest for this position. The Primary Healthcares Centres are without staff with dilapidated structures”, he observed.
