NUC issues Karl Kumm University Permanent Operational License

Professor Nanven Audu Gambo, Vice Chancellor Karl-Kumm University Vom

The National Universities Commission (NUC), has officially issued Permanent Operational License to the Karl Kumm University Vom in Plateau State, replacing the earlier Provisional Licence issued by the commission.

This came in a press statement signed by the Protocol and Information Officer of the University, Bulus Gambo, and made available to newsmen in Jos, the capital Thursday, shortly after a vigorous Licence Review Assessment visit by NUC team March this year.

The statement states, “Vice Chancellor, Karl Kumm University Vom in Plateau State, Prof Nanven Audu Gambo, is happy that the university has been issued Permanent Operational Licence to replace the Provisional Licence earlier issued by the National Universities Commission (NUC).

“With this significant development, attention would be focused on ensuring the full accreditation of programmes currently offered by the university and the introduction of some new ones.

“The Management of the University is leaving no stone unturned towards transforming the institution into globally competitive citadel of learning and innovation”, the statement reads.

Prof. Gambo, therefore, expressed immense gratitude to the Acting Executive Secretary of the National Universities Commission, Mr Chris Maiyaki, Proprietor of Karl Kumm University, Board of Trustees, Governing Council, Senate, management staff and students of Karl Kumm University for their support and resilience which led to this achievement.
