The Ngolong Ngas, His Majesty, Nde Jika Golit, has, on behalf of the Ngas Nation extended deepest condolences to His Highness, Shehu Abubakar Ibn Umar Gabai EIkanemi, the Shehu of Borno and the entire citizens over the devastating flood that ravaged communities in the State recently.
This was contained in a press statement signed by the Media Officer to the Ngolong Ngas, Wukaska Bako Gowon, and made available to newsmen in Jos, the Plateau State capital Sunday.

The Ngolong Ngas, who is the most Senior Traditional Ruler of the entire Kwararafa Ethnic Nationalities on the Plateau stated that, Borno was an ancestral home to all Kwararafa Nationalities.
Through the statement, the paramount ruler disclosed that the relationship has long held a place of deep reverence in the hearts of the tribes, hence the profound response to the widespread destructions caused by the tragic event.
He added that, the tragedy was a blow not only to the residents of Borno State, but to the entire Kwararafa kingdom and those who share a connection to the Borno Dynasty.

While sympathizing, His Majesty, the Ngolong Ngas, expressed confidence that the resilience and indomitable spirit of the Borno people would see them rise again from the disaster stronger and more united than ever.
Nde Jika Golit, however, appealed to the spirited individuals who God has blessed to support the Borno State Government in its effort towards responding to the plights of the affected communities.
He, therefore, prayed God to accept the souls of those who lost their lives in the tragic incident.
