Forum throws weight behind Mutfwang, endorses all PDP candidates

A political group under the aegis of Coalition of the Cultural Middle Belt Political Forum, has thrown its weight behind Governor Caleb Mutfwang, of Plateau State in support of his commitment to grassroots development in the state.

   It has also endorsed all People’s Democratic Party (PDP)’s Chairmanship and Councillorship Candidates across the seventeenth LGA ahead tomorrow’s Local Government Council Elections.

   The forum made this position known to Journalists through their Chairman Prince Ibrahim David at the press briefing organised by the forum and held at the State Headquarters of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Monday.

   The Chairman said, “as young leaders from the Middle-Belt region, we recognize the significance of local government elections in shaping the future of our communities.

   “The upcoming October 9th Local Government Election presents an opportunity to elect leaders who share our vision for Grassroots development, Inclusive Governance, Economic growth, addressing security issues on the Plateau and given everyone a sense of belonging.

   “After a careful consideration, rigorous assessment and consultation with stakeholders, we wholeheartedly endorse all PDP Chairmanship and Councillorship candidates for the October 9th Local Government Election in Plateau State”, he disclosed.

    Leader of the forum, however, explained that the endorsement was due to Governor Caleb Mutfwang’s unwavering commitment to Grassroots development in Plateau State.

  He added that Mutfwang’s administration was poised to demonstrating dedication and  empowerment of local communities fostering inclusive growth that resonated deep values.

    According David, the recognition was a prove to what he done within just one year few months in office making the state to witness continuous grassroots development initiatives demonstrating genuine focus on local needs aligning with their desire for community-driven progress.

   While commending  Governor Mutfwang, for ensuring that all various nationalities of the Middle-Belt in the have a voice in his administration, the forum disclosed that, the economic strategies of his administration prioritised job creation, infrastructure development and sustainable progress essential for region’s prosperity.
