
The Plateau State Independent Electoral Commission (PLASIEC), has concluded arrangements to conduct re-run elections in four (4) Local Government Areas of the State.
This came in a press statement signed by the Commission’s Chairman Plangji Daniel Cishak, and made available to newsmen in Jos, the State capital Friday.


The statement said, “the Plateau State Independent Electoral Commission (PLASIEC), wishes to inform the public that a re-run of the local government elections for Councillorship positions will be conducted in six wards across four Local Government Areas (LGAs) in the state.
“The re – run elections will be conducted in Kishika ward of Bassa Local Government Area as well as Jemkur and Turaki wards of Langtang South.

“Re-run elections will also be conducted in Gindiri 2 and Kasuwan Ali wards of Mangu Local Government Area.
Qua’an Pan local government on the other hand will conduct re -run elections in Luukwo ward”, it stated.
The Chairman disclosed that the specific date for the re-run will be announced in due course and he encouraged all eligible voters in the affected wards to stay informed and participate in this important democratic process.
