His Majesty, Nde Jika Golit, the Ngolong Ngas and President, Pankshin/Kanke Traditional Council, commended the Plateau State Government for upgrading and creation of more Chiefdom and Districts to help bring government close to people.
This came in a press statement signed by the Media Officer, Ngolong Ngas Palace, Wukaska Bako Gowon, and made available to newsmen in Jos, the Plateau State capital Friday.

While receiving members of Dawaki District of Kanke LGA in his Palace led by the District Head Nde Julius Gombwir, the Royal Father charged them to complement Government good gesture. He also charged them to embark on projects that were geared towards developing the newly created Districts and to disengage from Traditional leadership tussles that could distort the existing unity among them.
The Monarch applauded the District Head of Dawaki Nde Julius Gombwir, for his style of leadership centered on building peaceful relationship among the tribes of the locality and pledged of his readiness to work with all the Traditional Rulers and their subjects.



He expressed concern over the high level of criminality in the society and advised that parents should be the true keepers of their Children by guiding them against unholy behaviors that could truncate thier future and urgred them to always protect their land from the hands of those who don’t want progress.
Earlier in a remark, His Highness, Nde Julius Gombwir, the District Head of Dawaki, thanked the King for his kind reception and assured him of their total loyalty and support to the Monarch.
He said , “Dawaki is a miniature Settlement, a business Hub of the Ngas Nation and we want to appeal that, Village Heads under me be given recognition so that they can be captured in Government pay roll to enable them perform more functions”.

On his part, while delivering the Community’s message, the Chairman, Luka Ezekiel Kopyilla disclosed that, the visit was to congratulate the king and equally extend their appreciation to Governor Caleb Mutfwang for providing an enabling environment for his successful election as the Paramount Ruler of the Ngas Land.
He described his ascension to throne as worthy of celebration because for the past number of years, the Ngas tribe has been wondering like sheep without a shepherd.
“Your numerous achievements within this short period are of great relief to us and I want to assure you of our support in the areas of security, land disputes and other impactive programs that could uplift the livelihood of the people especially at the grass root”, the Chairman promised.
