Ngas Elders mourn Maran of Ngas kingdom

Late Maran Esther Jika Golit, the Wife of Ngolong Ngas

    Following the demise of Maran of Ngas Kingdom, the Ngas Elders Forum led its Chairman, Nde Gideon Barde, have staged a powerful delegation and paid a condolence visit to Ngolong Ngas, His Majesty, Nde Jika Golit, over the untimely demise of his wife, Maran Esther Jika Golit.

   This came in a press statement signed by the Media Officer to the Ngolong Ngas, Wukaska Bako Gowon, and made available to newsmen in Jos, the Plateau State capital Friday shortly after the condolence visit at the Ngolong Ngas Palace in Pankshin LGA.

   According to the statement, “the Ngas Elders said, they were  deeply saddened by the untimely demise of Her Majesty, Maran Esther Jika Golit, the Wife of His Majesty, Nde Jika Golit, the Ngolong Ngas.

   Members of the forum expressed their sad feelings and described late Maran as a mother who was so supportive to her husband in his numerous services to the people of his kingdom”, it stated.

    Nde Barde, noted that death was natural  and it comes when it’s time and no other person can question it, praying God to give the Royal family the fortitude to bear irreparable lost.

   Responding on behalf of the family, the NDA National President, Dr Danjuma Gokum, thanked members of Ngas Elders Forum for coming to share with the Royal Father, his family and the entire Ngas kingdom, words of encouragement and urged them not to relent but to continue to pray for God’s comfort.

   Also speaking, a representative of Pankshin/Kanke Traditional Council, His Highness the Gwolong Tal His Royal Highness, Nde Yusuf Nanleng Gutus II, described the death as painful, but commended the existing relationship between the Ngas Elders and the Traditional Council and the condolence messages which were highly comfortable.

    While praying for the Family, Ngas Nation  and the entire state, Rev. Professor Soja Bewarang, described the deceased as a dedicated member of the Church of Christ In All Nations (COCIN) Jos Jarawa and had exemplified values by supporting all its Programmes.

   He pointed out that, her death was quite devastating to them all when the news came, but prayed God to continue to rest her soul with the Him until the last days.
