The apex body of Ngas Development Association (NDA), has, on behalf of Ngas Elders Forum and the entire Ngas sons and daughters of Ngas Kingdom, commended Governor Bala Muhammad, of Bauchi State for appointing one of its own son, Professor Titus Ketkukkah to serve in his cabinet as Commissioner.
This came in a press statement signed by the National Publicity Secretary I of NDA, Andrew Amos Gogwim, and made available to newsmen in Jos, the Plateau State Thursday.
The statement states, “the NDA President, Dr. Katkukkah Danjuma Gokum, expressed appreciation of the Ngas Kingdom to His Excellency, Sen. Bala Mohammed, for finding one of their son worthy to serve on his team.
“The National Executive Council, on behalf of the expanded Executive of Ngas Development Association (NDA), Ngas Elder’s Forum and the entire Ngas sons and daughters globally, wishes to congratulate our son, Prof. Titus Ketkukkah on his nomination as a Commissioner to serve in the Bauchi State Executive Council.
“We acknowledged the valuable contributions that Prof. Ketkukkah will bring to Bauchi State and pledged the support and prayers of Ngas people for the success of his administration”, he assured.
Gokum, however, reiterated on the importance of the historical bond and fraternity between the Ngas people in Plateau and Bauchi State as well as all the natives of Bauchi State and pledged to do all within his power to continue this this longstanding relationship of brotherhood.
He, therefore, encouraged the Commissioner-nominee, to give his all best to reposed the confidence bestowed in him on this appointment and serve with sincerity, honesty and dedication.
While congratulating Prof. Titus Ketkukkah, Commissioner-nominee on his appointment, the NDA President urged him to show the true character of the Ngas people in value, virtue and forthrightness.
