Words of wisdom

Ambassador Nanpon Danjuma Sheni, the PIDAN President

Be kind but don’t be nice, being kind is showing genuine empathy, compassion, and concern for someone’s well-being.

It’s about being genuinely invested in someone’s happiness and taking action to help while being nice is being agreeable, polite, and pleasant, often to avoid conflict, gain approval, or target something from the other person.

It’s about being pleasant on the surface, but not necessarily genuine. Being kind is natural and from within while being nice is an act from without.

Learn to be genuinely kind because the world is dying from a lack of it like lack of oxygen!! Kindness is a virtue and it is urgently needed in our world of today.

The Lord said, “And be ye kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving one another..” Be kind! Good morning and a blessed Tuesday.
