The statement states, “we are deeply saddened and outraged by the recent killings in Bokkos, which have claimed the lives of innocent citizens and caused untold suffering to families and communities.

“The senseless violence that took place is not only a tragic loss of life, but a stain on our collective humanity. We strongly condemn these heinous acts and call on the authorities to take immediate and decisive action to bring the perpetrators to justice.

“The lives lost in Bokkos are irreplaceable, and their families deserve both justice and support in this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims and the people of Bokkos. We stand in solidarity with them in their grief and demand accountability”, it demanded.

The Executive Director, therefore, urged government and security agencies to increase efforts to ensure the security of all residents of the area to prevent further attacks on these innocent people.

She emphasised that the cycle of violence must stopped, and all efforts should be focused on restoring peace, security and justice for the people of Bokkos and surrounding communities killed by these peddlers of evil.

“This is not just a local issue but a national concern. It is vital that we come together to denounce all forms of violence and work towards a society where everyone can live free from fear.

“We call on all citizens to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity around their vicinity to security agencies, while also advocating for a collective commitment to peace and justice.

“We as Women Without Walls Initiative stand united in our call for an end to the violence in Bokkos, and we remain hopeful that with collective action, peace will prevail. Evil will never prevail over good”, Ibanga emphasised.
