Words of wisdom

Ambassador Nanpon Danjuma Sheni, the PIDAN President

A heart filled with anger has no room for love. Now and always decide to stick with love. Hate is too great a burden to bear.Love binds the world together while anger and hate tear it apart.

Life has taught us that love does not consist only in gazing at each other but in looking outward together in the same direction. Keep love in your heart.

A life without it is like a sunless garden when the flowers are dead. Anger is a wind which blows out the lamp of the mind.

Where there is love there is life. Passion makes the world go round. Love just makes it a safer place.

Remember that God is Love. Let Love Leads…. Good morning and a blessed Tuesday……

Don’t complain about difficult situations, they contain in them the motivation to succeed and make you stronger.

What you say about yourself is what will transform you from the inside out.

You only have one life to live, make sure it’s as wonderful and unique as you are.

The best is yet to come, all great achievements require time.

Adversity is a severe instructor. He that wrestles with us strengthens our nerves and sharpens our skill.

Our antagonist is our helper. To repel one’s cross is to make it heavier. You will overcome for all glory comes from daring to begin.

The Lord said “Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me……” The Lord Instructs..

Good morning and have a blessed Monday and the week ahead!!

Mrs Lucy Umar, the Director of Finance and Supply, PPBA representing the DG

Sanda, disclosed that the observance of this interfaith breaking of Ramadan & Lent fast that came from different faiths and traditions, optimally emphasized a component of humility, service to God and respect for each other.

“What better way to celebrate the Ramadan and Easter than coming together as a community and sitting side by side and embrace each other, share humility, as united as one?

“This event, embodying the spirit of peace building, Interfaith, harmony and social co-creation, are the mandate of PPBA. We gathered today not only to share a meal, but to reaffirm our collective commitment to peace, unity, and mutual understanding.

“As we break our fast and share this moment together, we are also to mark and remain committed to listening more, judge less, and embrace our differences as strength rather than differences to inject hatred”, the PPBA boss reiterated.

The Executive Chairman of Jos-North Local Government Area, Barr. JK Chris, commended the Plateau State Peace Building Agency for this noble initiative of promoting peaceful and harmonious coexistence.

Represented by Mr. Rotshak Wakdet, the Chairman described Jos-North as the heartbeat of peace and unity and charged the people of the area to sustain this effort and continue to be ambassadors and advocates of peace and harmonious coexistence so that, more development would strive in the local government.

“We are appreciative of this very noble gesture of bringing people from different divides together and strengthening social cohesion. I want to encourage you that as a local government, we are interested in promoting peace, unity and harmonious coexistence.

Earlier, while delivering the overview of the interfaith dialogue,  the Team Lead of Interfaith Unit, PSPBA,  Salis Bashir Jibril, disclosed that the interfaith breaking of Ramadan and Lent was for both Muslims and Christians to see themselves and be reminded that peaceful coexistence was necessary.

He said, “for the fact that I am a Muslim does not mean I don’t like you. For the fact that you are a Christian does not mean you don’t like me. No, we must embrace one another, we must live peacefully, harmoniously, so as to bring whatever it is of benefit and development to our society.

“Plateau is one. The two religions are one. We are one peaceful Plateau and our dream is for us to see that some day, this segregation of living in our schools, in our markets, in our activities will become a thing of the past”, he emphasised.

On his part, the President of Plateau Peace Practitioners of Nigeria (PPPN), Mr Bali Nandan, congratulated PPBA for initiating this great event hoping that, when they sustain this, Plateau would be better for it saying, “please and please, this is beautiful!

Mr Kenneth Dakop, the Strategic Communication Officer of PPBA

“I think it is good that we are reverting back to where we started from and the importance of this social cohesion, is the most important thing. So, as we get together, let’s deepen this peace, this cohesion so that, our children will not have this divide.

“We can have children where there won’t  be schools for Christian alone, or schools for Muslim children alone, but all of our children just as it used to be where there were Christians and Muslims children schooling together”, he advocated.

Also, the representatives of Plateau Interfaith Youth Council, Pastor Julius Arabo and Malam Umar Farouk, emphasised on the need for Christians and Muslims to  embrace good relationship, because it open doors for good will that rescue them from danger.

“Our good will make us to have a blessings that money cannot buy. This is the message for all of us. As we are all fasting today, and as we are all breaking fast together, let the blessings that follow Abraham follow you”, they reiterated.

Tucked away within the darkness of our fears is a shiny key that unlocks the doors to courage.

Things that get taken for granted get taken away. Be grateful! Stay positive and happy. Work hard and don’t give up hope.

Be open to criticism and keep learning. Surround yourself with happy, warm, and genuine people.

The secret of your future is hidden in your daily routine. Give your maker and yourself credit for making it this far.

And always be positive because the best parts of your life are still ahead of you. The Lord speaks…

Good morning and a blessed Sunday..

Being in tune with God does not shield you away from life’s challenges. He did not promise you that there won’t be challenges and trial moments, but the key is this:

if challenges had the power to bless or harm, they would bless and harm all men alike, but the fact that the same challenge will be good and bad to different souls depending on how its been handled, proves that the good or bad is not in the challenge, but only in the mind of him that encounters it.

So control your thoughts, regulate and discipline your mind. Allow only thoughts of good, joy, and serenity to filter through your mind and as you practice this, you will become joyful, serene, strong, healthy, compassionate, and loving.

Every storm runs out of rain. Be patient, you are coming out stronger. The Lord secures…Good morning and blessed Saturday.

A lots of people are broken in this world, but what do you expect in a world that is waiting for the slightest opportunity to crush you.

But the good news is, our God is the mender of broken hearts. Avoid being negative at all cost, you can be living in a dark world but your heart is full of light.

Thinking positive thoughts will empower your mind and free your soul. When you have a grateful heart, life is so beautiful, nobody gets to live life backward, look ahead that is where your future lies.

Failure defeats losers but inspires winners. Your best days are still out in front of you. Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom. The Lord reveals..

GoodMorning. Thank God is Friday..

Take time to think, it is the source of power, take time to exercise, it is the secret of perpetual youth, take time to read, it is the foundation of wisdom, take time to pray, it is the greatest power on earth, take time to love and be loved, it is God-given privilege.

He who kills time injures eternity. Time is a precious seed, sow it wisely. Every moment wasted is a fragment of forever lost. Invest your time in purpose, passion, and progress. Make every second count, and eternity will thank you.

There are things we can’t force. We must adjust to it but prayer can change anything, even move mountains because prayer brings God into the equation, and when God steps in everything changes…

The Lord answers. Good morning and a blessed Thursday.

We spend our lives dreaming of the future, not realizing that a little of it slip away every day. Don’t let the future sneak up on you!

Every day, a piece of it slips away. Don’t wait for tomorrow, start building your dreams today. Take small steps, make intentional decisions, and watch your future unfold.

Every day is a new beginning, hence the need to celebrate the gift of life. By celebrating the gift of life, you protect your heart from the dangers of pessimism, regret, and bitterness.

We become whatever we are committed to. The great virtue in life is real courage, knowing how to face facts and live beyond them. The Lord renews. Good morning and a blessed Wednesday..

Be kind but don’t be nice, being kind is showing genuine empathy, compassion, and concern for someone’s well-being.

It’s about being genuinely invested in someone’s happiness and taking action to help while being nice is being agreeable, polite, and pleasant, often to avoid conflict, gain approval, or target something from the other person.

It’s about being pleasant on the surface, but not necessarily genuine. Being kind is natural and from within while being nice is an act from without.

Learn to be genuinely kind because the world is dying from a lack of it like lack of oxygen!! Kindness is a virtue and it is urgently needed in our world of today.

The Lord said, “And be ye kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving one another..” Be kind! Good morning and a blessed Tuesday.

The world is full of people who quickly give up at the slightest pull, whose determination is short-lived by circumstance.

But nature celebrates refreshing souls who believe in rising above the occasion, those who look beyond limitations, these are strong-willed eagles who refuse to be bothered by the negativism and skepticism of the world!

They believe that mediocrity must be crushed and that confrontation must first take place in the mind, which is the place of endless and limitless possibilities.

Some people dream of accomplishing great things. Others wake up and make it happen. The Lord affirms. Good morning and a blessed Monday..
