Hurting people will never make you satisfied, find something doing–Asama

Hon. Daniel Asama, Member, House of Representatives

By Ezekiel Dontinna

Member representing Jos-North/Bassa Federal Constituency in the Green Chamber of  National Assembly, Hon. Daniel Asama, has implored youth to engage themselves in gainful opportunities and stay away from crime that hurt people since it would never satisfied them.
He stated this Monday, while in an interview with Journalists shortly after a town hold meeting with various leaders representing his constituents at the conference hall of The Bridge Hotel in Jos, the Plateau State capital.
The Lawmaker prayed that his constituents would collectively fight insecurity to help make the Constituency sweet saying, “we have the heart of Plateau. We are the centre of development,  centre of civilization and so,  let’s hold Plateau.

“Hurting people will never make you satisfied. It is crime at the end of the day and it does not pay. At the end, you will have to be caught. You will pay for it. So, why did you even trail in that way?
“Find something. Make a significant thing. Be legit in your hustles. Find something that is clean. It’s better the little you have than the plenty that you have with a lot of curses.
“Let’s know that nobody that has done crime has ever gone free with it. Why won’t you just calm down, settle down and do something for yourself? Let’s find a living”, he encouraged .
According to Asama, “I am calling on all the younger men, whether you are a cult member, whether you are in a group, whether you’ve been snatching phones, whether you’ve been sneaking into people’s house and stealing chicken, or whatever you’ve been doing, please, it doesn’t pay. I’m telling you sincerely, crime does not pay.
“Try and look back into what you’re going to do to make a living. For those who are kidnapping, for those who are robbing, I’m only praying that God will change your hearts, that God will touch you so that you stop these things”, he prayed.

The 10th Assembly Legislator, therefore, commended the security personnel, both military and paramilitary, for the job well done and prayed God to continue to protect and give them wisdom to protect the people.
He, however, expressed hope that the budgetary provision of over ₦2.8 trillion captured in the 2025 budget on defence should not be just the figure, but should be transformed into physical action on the ground and to be felt in the grassroot.

Ambassador Nanpon Danjuma Sheni, the PIDAN President

An apology is the super glue of life. It sustains relationships. It can repair anything. What you can or can’t do is determined entirely by your conviction.

The depth of strength inside you is as vast as the ocean. Life is what you make it. Trust in yourself, If something feels wrong, it feels wrong for a reason.

If you lose your ambition, you’ve lost the drive to succeed. Wherever you are, be there totally.

Be the type of person you want to meet. The Lord lifts…

Good morning and Thank God is Friday…

    Words of wisdom

Ambassador Nanpon Danjuma Sheni, the PIDAN President

It will not happen cutting corners, taking shortcuts, or looking for the easy way. There’s only hard work, late nights, early mornings, practice, repetition, study and discipline.

Though you feel like you’re not where you’re supposed to be, you shouldn’t worry because the next turn you take, it will lead you to where you want to go.

When you keep a thankful heart, you’II see the blessings that surround you everyday.

Just as treasures are uncovered from the earth, so virtue appears from good deeds, and wisdom appears from a pure and peaceful mind.

To walk safely through the maze of human life, one needs the light of wisdom and the guidance of virtue.

Keep up the good deed, because being kind is better than being right. The Lord refreshes.

Good morning. Season Greetings.

     Words of wisdom

Ambassador Nanpon Danjuma Sheni, the PIDAN President

Don’t avoid extremes to stay in balance, stay in balance by living in the extreme of God’s will for your life.

Unless a man takes on more than he possibly can do, he will never do all he can.

Don’t bother with small plans, they motivate no one, nothing significant was ever accomplished by a realistic person, optimism takes you really far.

Life is made up of desires that seem big and vital one minute, and little and absurd the next.

I guess we get what’s best for us in the end. Your vision is your potential worth. The Lord said “Just believe..

Good morning and a blessed Tuesday…

    Words of wisdom

Ambassador Nanpon Danjuma Sheni, the PIDAN President

Your heart’s strength is measured by how hard it holds on, your self-worth is measured by how you recognize the glory of God in you and remember that you are made in His image, and faith is measured by holding on to what you believe, even against all odd.

However, your peace is measured by how long you don’t look back and you believe in God’s word.

Take life day by day and be grateful for the little things because it’s the summation of the little things that make great things happen.

Don’t get caught up in what you can’t control, accept it and make the best of it because God is attending to it.

If you want to be trusted, be honest. The Lord determines….
