Words of wisdom

Ambassador Nanpon Danjuma Sheni, the PIDAN President

When we face an impossible situation, all self-reliance and self-confidence must be replaced with faith and confidence in God because if you can solve the problem, then why worry, go ahead and solve it.

If you cannot solve it, then what is the use of worrying? Worrying cannot change situations, we must be totally dependent on God for the solution.

God is in the business of changing situations and circumstances. You should never be afraid to ask God for help.

Only God can move mountains, but faith, prayer and praise can move God. The Lord sustains…..Good morning and blessed Monday…

     Words of wisdom

Ambassador Nanpon Danjuma Sheni, the PIDAN President

Take time each day to connect with God. Trust that there is a plan, even if you only see a fraction of it.

Train your mind to be calm in every situation. Just pray and lay it at the feet of the Master; His story never ends in ashes, but words of caution; Don’t promise when you’re over-excited.

Don’t reply when you’re angry, and don’t decide when you’re sad. You might regret your decision later and remember that your integrity matters.

Just like the morning sun, you too shall rise and continue to shine. It’s a new day. The Lord renews…Good morning and a blessed Saturday…..

      Words of wisdom

Ambassador Nanpon Danjuma Sheni, the PIDAN President

Successful people understand that no one makes it to the top in a single bound.

What sets them apart is their willingness to keep putting one right step in front of the other, no matter how rough the terrain is.

If you continue to do what’s right, what’s wrong, who’s wrong will eventually leave your life.

Life is too precious to be wasted, commit yourself now to creating goals that will guarantee your future freedom and success.

If a man wakes up famous or successful, he hasn’t been sleeping. Focus changes everything.

To whom brain is given, sense is expected. The Lord guides Good morning and have a blessed Thursday..

      Words of wisdom

Ambassador Nanpon Danjuma Sheni, the PIDAN President

Keep on keeping on, a little progress every day adds up to big success. Big dreams need big sacrifices; in dedication, hard work, diligence, consistency and securing divine intervention through prayer.

Always focus on your goals not the challenges. When you take your eyes off what’s stressing you, you’ll be able to see what’s blessing you.

Remember that the best days of your life are still ahead of you. Pay attention to the choices you make.

You are your choices so make wise choices because the go you make today are what defines your tomorrow.

The Lord admonish… Good morning and a blessed Wednesday..

    Words of wisdom

Ambassador Nanpon Danjuma Sheni, the PIDAN President

Marriage is sweet when with like minds. Marry whom you love and cherish without object of condition.

Whether in plenty or in penury. Respect is reciprocal. Wife must respect her husband. Husband owns a duty to love his wife. Marriage must be renewed daily in our hearts and in action, that’s God’s will.

Forgiveness and Tolerance is key. Some will not renew their Marriage if it was like Driver’s License renewal.

But remember, Love is key. For God is love. Lead us not into temptation is better than deliver us from evil.

Some have been pushed, some have been lured by friends and some walked into immorality.

Flee sexual immorality. The Lord warns. Let Love Leads. GoodMorning and a blessed Tuesday..

     Words of wisdom

Ambassador Nanpon Danjuma Sheni, the PIDAN President

When water is still, it reflects like a mirror. Similarly, a calm mind will reflect the wisdom and beauty of God.

Give yourself credit for trying, especially on the most challenging days, but give God thanks for everything including those things you are yet to receive.

Never underestimate the power of consistency and desire as you release the need to always have control.

Life has no remote, get up and change it yourself. Believe in yourself more than you believe in your excuses.

Be calm, things will get better. The Lord directs…Good morning and a blessed Sunday…..

      Words of wisdom

Ambassador Nanpon Danjuma Sheni, the PIDAN President

One of the greatest gifts you can give yourself is to forgive. Forgive everybody, even yourself.

Sometimes it’s more important to be kind than to be right, you need to let some things go for peace to reign.

Raise your words, not your voice. It is rain that grows flowers, not thunder. Life isn’t about getting and having, it’s about giving and being.

Making one person smile can change the world – maybe not the whole world, but their world. Love all, trust a few, do wrong to none.

It’s a new morning, a new start, new hope, new blessings. The Lord enthrones. Good morning and have a blessed Saturday…

Kayi sets to launch his 438-page literary book tomorrow November 9

Nde Emmanuel Gogwim Kayi, Author of the 438-Literary book titled WITHOUT A NAME

By Ezekiel Dontinna

A pen Veteran Journalist, Writer and Seasoned Administrator, Nde Emmanuel Gogwim Kayi, has, come Saturday November 9, 2024 concluded plans to launch a 438-page literary book titled: “WITHOUT A NAME” for public reading.

This came in a press statement signed by the Publicity Committee and made available to newsmen in Jos, Plateau State Thursday.

The statement states,  “A record of personal memoirs and snippets of historical events, the book goes by the improbable title, WITHOUT A NAME.

“It is a mark of the authors prodigious talent that under that pretentious title, he finds his identity, with which he takes the reader through the epochs that shaped his own life and career.

“But, more than his own story, he provides the lens through which his reader has glimpses of the Nigerian story. Employing the first person narrative, the book opens in the most dramatic way, as the author is set to rough it out in an intense emotional moment”, it stated.

According to the Committee, one of many dilemmas that characterize the story as he navigates the turns, descends the valleys and scales the bumps that writing on the variegated issues in the book entails.

“Emma Gogwim Kayi’s professional career began in 1987 at The Nigeria Standard, the Plateau State-owned newspaper where some of the best hands in print journalism were found in its heyday.

“With requisite training in the humanities, and a strong character that suited the exacting work ethics of the organisation, he found the platform to report, write and comment on the various subjects that are meaningful to him and relevant to the development of the society.

“The author tells his story in thirteen chapters, weaving it around a multiplicity of themes, all dovetailing into an exciting tapestry of the Nigerian story: its rustic innocence, its urban sophistication, its endless possibilities and inherent contradictions.

“Inspired by his childhood, nativity and education, his journalistic work and public service career, Emma Gogwim Kayi finds the bare bones that he fleshes out into the seminal work that is billed for public presentation.

“In typical reportorial style, the writer takes you to the picturesque hills of Golten, in Kanke LGA of Plateau State, where he was born, lets you in on his genealogy and makes you experience the social and cultural conditions in which he grew up.

“The first child of Christian missionary parents, the real world began to unfold before the author early enough, as his parents took the family to distant places, exposing him to ways and standards that today affect the way he interprets his world.

“Confronting the tragedy of the Nigerian union, the author beholds the countrys fault lines, and then provides harrowing examples of the disturbances inspired by religion and ethnicity.

“His perception of Nigeria and its burdensome divisions would also seem to come from his involvement with activities that drove students movements on university campuses in the 1970s and 1980s.

“Deeply affected by the ideological tendencies of that era, his radical slant, if subdued, is no doubt a chip off that era.

What is more, that streak began to find subtle expression at The Nigeria Standard, where he had joined a radical band, mostly former university graduates who had come out of the trenches of activism.

“The intellectual energy provided by the work environment at the time helped sharpen his perspectives on sundry matters. And such matters as the gains and pains of visioning would coalesce into a treatise on the bold vision of the papers founder, JD Gomwalk.

“Emma Gogwim Kayi became the editor of the newspaper in a meteoric rise that occurred within four years, beginning from his first appointment as a features writer in 1987. His book records many defining moments of that era among which was the principled stand of the papers editors on the inconclusive results of the 1993 presidential election.

“Rising to the peak of his professional career, paying his dues in a field that had given him a name, the twilight of that phase had come.

“And the writer and journalist would, first, gravitate to local government administration where he was, at different times, secretary of Kanke Local Government Council and sole administrator, and then the state bureaucracy where he rose to the positon of Permanent Secretary before his exit from public service.

“Funny, yet serious; intriguing, but revealing, WITHOUT A NAME slows down as you catch your breath under an appropriately titled chapter, The End is Near.

“The author recounts such sobering moments as his fathers death, mind-numbing massacres in many of Plateaus communities, marriage and family, visit to the Holy Land, among other highlights of his eventful career.

“Delivered in elegant prose, WITHOUT A NAME indeed brings together shreds of information about a life, career and a dream. But it is about us all.

“But that is just one of many dilemmas that characterize the story as he navigates the turns, descends the valleys and scales the bumps that writing on the variegated issues in the book entails.

“Emma Gogwim Kayis professional career began in 1987 at The Nigeria Standard, the Plateau State-owned newspaper where some of the best hands in print journalism were found in its heyday.

“With requisite training in the humanities, and a strong character that suited the exacting work ethics of the organization, he found the platform to report, write and comment on the various subjects that are meaningful to him and relevant to the development of the society”, the Committee highlighted.

Ambassador Nanpon Danjuma Sheni, the PIDAN President

Happiness is mostly a by-product of doing what makes us feel fulfilled even from our hearts.

It has to be wise decisions because poor decisions ultimately lead to regrets and sorrows.

If you don’t want to drink with friends, just say, your doctor advised against it, no one will push you.

The fountain of beauty is the heart, and every generous thought illustrates the walls of your chamber.

The happiest person is the person who thinks the most interesting thoughts and act wisely.

Avoid giving unsolicited advice, if it works you might not get credit for it, if it fails you will definitely be blamed for it.

The Lord said “Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding”. The Lord Leads. GoodMorning, Thank God is Friday…

Believe me, failure is part of success if you always rise again after it’s encountered.

If you’re not failing, you’re not pushing your limits, and if you’re not pushing your limits, you’re not maximizing your potential.

There is no amount of positive act you put in towards success that’s not worth it because success is a great healer.

Ninety nine percent of challenges some people are dealing with right now can vanish when they receive some certain amount of money.
