Government College Pankshin, has been described as one of best colleges established in early 60s and has remained the pride of Plateau State and the Central Senatorial Zone of the State.
The Ngolong Ngas, His Majesty, Nde Jika Golit, stated this, while receiving in audience, the Executive Council of the Pankshin Old Boys Association (POBA) led by its National President, Kenzy Gupar, who paid him a courtesy visit in his Pankshin Palace.
This came in a press statement signed by the Media Officer, Ngolong Ngas Palace, Wukaska Bako Gowon, and made available to newsmen in Jos, the Plateau State Capital Friday.


The Traditional Ruler commended them for deeming it fit to visit him crediting the Old students Association for their immense contributions to the college in fostering unity and development in the College.
He noted that, the College’s high academic excellence and discipline have succeeded in producing imminent citizens who have faired in both government and private sectors of the society, contributing immensely to the Nation’s building.
The Royal Father, therefore, thanked the college’s Alumni for their contributions towards building a strong union that has continue to maintain standard and the values of the college.

He, however, accepted their invitation to attend the forth coming Reunion of the Old students of the college in November, assuring them of his readiness to host his colleagues who were members.
Earlier, the National President of association, Kenzy Gupar, stated that the visit was to pay homage and to also invite him to stand for POBA in receiving one of his colleagues, the Emir of Keffi who would be crown as the Grand Patron of the College during the Reunion Service in his land.
He praised his humility and lauded his leadership style which has brought joy not only to his people, but the entire citizens of the State and expressed optimism that his present at the occasion would give respect and reflect the discipline the school was known for.
On his part, the Pankshin Chapter Chairman of the Association, Joel Mafulu, congratulated the Royal Father on his ascension to this exalted throne of the Ngas Nationalities and thanked for giving them audience.
